Тrіо "Sympho-Nick" for Junior Eurovision 2014!

Yesterday, August 9 2014, Ukraine selected their representant for  upcoming Junior Eurovision edition. The winner of the national selection is trio ''Sympho-Nick'' with the song "Priyde vesna"
(Прийде весна). Junior Eurovision 2014 will be hosted in Malta at 
Malta Shipbuilding, after  Maltese victory at the 2013 edition.



                                      



 About national selection - 18 acts took part in the national selection, which was held in up in the mountain resort of Bukovel. At the end of the show, it was announced that Тrіо "Sympho-Nick" won!
The voting was an equal split of jury and public votes, with each having a 50% stake. Trio "Sympho-Nick" were awarded equal points by the jury and public, according to the jury President.
Trio Sympho-Nick's song is an ethic style number, entitled "Pryyde vesna" ("Spring will come"). The three girls will now represent Ukraine at this year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Malta. At last year's contest, Sofia Tarasova won second prize with her entry "We are one".

About the contest - The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 is the 12th annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest, set to take place in Malta. This is the first time the contest will be held in Malta. It will also be the third time in the history of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest that the event will be hosted by the previous year's winning country, after Malta won the 2013 edition in Kiev, Ukraine, with the song "The Start" by Gaia Cauchi. Maltese national broadcaster PBS will be the host broadcaster for the event.
The date of the final is 15 November 2014 and it will be held in Malta Shipbuilding in Marsa, near Valletta. So far, fourteen countries have confirmed their participation with Italy and Montenegro making their début and Portugal, Cyprus, Serbia and Bulgaria returning after a six , four, three and a two year absence, respectively.
